DECEMBER/JANUARY "ADVICE"

*1. This is Cocoa Season for Pastors.* They will organise all kinds of crusades, conventions, revivals, prayer nights, etc. Trust me, 80% of these programmes are fund raising ventures and not divinely inspired. Be careful how you spend during such programmes. Learn to spend within budget.

*2. Spice Up Your Relationship.* You hardly have time for your girlfriend/wife due to tight schedules of work, school or church. Hey! It's a year end, spice up your dull relationship. Take her out and have fun. Surprise her with some gift. Give her a treat and resparkle your "dying" relationship.

*3. Write Down Your 2019 Resolutions.* Think about projects you would love to do in 2019 and begin drawing plans on how to start, continue or complete such projects. The watchword is *priorities.* Set your priorities right, don't jumble up your plans. One at a time.

*4. Sex Has Become Cheap, so are Sexually Transmitted Diseases.* Total abstinence is the watchword. You don't wanna have 5-10 minutes of sexual pleasure and live the rest of your life with HIV/AIDS. Be careful. Use protection, abstain and remain faithful to your partner (more advisable).

*5. Select Your Friends for 2019.* Yes, be picky. Don't move with just anybody. You don't need too many people around you. Select a few friends who share in your vision and are ready to push you up. The first of such friends is Jesus Christ. For the rest, think deeply and carefully choose.

*6. If Your Relationship is 3 Years Old +, Plan on Settling Down.*  Three or more years of dating is enough to make a definite decision of marrying your girl/boyfriend. Take that bold decision. You can avoid "too expensive" weddings and marry within budget.

*7. Nobody Owes You Life in 2019.* Death could just be one careless step away from you. Just Be careful. Eat well, sleep on time, stay healthy, smile more, pray more, make time for exercise and live life a day. Don't be too anxious! Don't be too expectant!

*8. Learn to Keep Secrets.* Keep your mouth shut! Not all plans in your head should be revealed. People don't really care about you as you assume they do. Just learn to keep things to yourself. Don't reveal all your plans to people.

*9. Give Someone a Gift This Month.* Yes! Someone really deserves a gift from you. Top of your gift list must be your parents, your pastor, your teacher and the needy kids in your neighbourhood. There's more blessing in giving, so give and be blessed!

*10. Let Go And Let God.* You have hooked on to that negative lifestyle for far too long. It could be masturbation, fornication, pornography, thievery, greed, lies, etc. Let go of this behaviour, and let God take over your life. In Him is success guaranteed.
