HOW TO OVERCOME INFERIORITY COMPLEX

Counselor FENYI writes✍

Inferiority Complex is when you feel that other people are better than you. You have low self-esteem and think you are good-for-nothing. It's quite normal to feel inferior at some point in life, but it's absolutely sickly to feel inferior almost every time. Trust Counselor Fenyi, as always, to give you all the raw facts, then you make your own decision.

The first step to deal with inferiority complex is to accept that other people will always be better than you, just as you'll also always be better than someone too. That's how God created the world, things/people can never be equal. Somebody will always have more money than you, look more beautiful/handsome than you, get better job than you, wear expensive clothes than you, etc. That's a fact. But guess what? You'll also always be better than someone too. You are definitely not the worst person in the world. Accept this fact and move on. In fact, even if you don't accept it, you can't do anything about it. Some people will be better than you and you will also always be better than someone too.

Again, do away with people who make you feel inferior. If you have friends, colleagues, etc who always make you feel like a second-class person, quit their company. It's not by-force to always hang-out with any particular group of people. Don't force yourself to please or impress people, always be yourself. If you go certain places and they make you feel inferior, quit going there. Eg all your friends are going to the mall to do some shopping, they are going in a particular dress and you don't have money to go shopping and no money to wear that particular dress, friend, just don't go.

Guess what? Shatta Wale, Asamoah Gyan, Kwame Sefa Kayi, ArchBishop Duncan Williams and Professor Kwesi Yankah have all met the president, Akuffo Addo before. Do you observe that all these personalities have different skills and abilities? That's the point. We all don't need to be the same to attain success or greatness. Just focus on your strengths, develop yourself well, forget about everybody and you too can dine with the president.
