So the Energy Minister, Boakye Ayarko, has been sacked.

Well, after the dirty politics are done, "freelance" analysts, like myself, also step in to teach the innocent public.

Now, look at the profile of the ex Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko.

Boakye Agyarko was born in 1956 in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. He attended the K. O. Methodist Primary School in Ashtown and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Primary School in Kumasi. He then proceeded to Mfantsipim School in Cape Coast for his secondary education from where he had both his GCE Ordinary Level and GCE Advanced Level certified. He obtained B.A in Economics and Political Science from the University of Ghana, Legon. He moved to USA as a political refugee. While there, he obtained an Advanced Professional Certificate in Banking from the American Institute of Banking and an MBA in Financial Economics from Pace University, New York .
After graduating from Pace University, he worked with the Bank of New York, the oldest bank in the United States. He left the bank after 22 years so he could contest elections in Ghana. While in the US he wrote a weekly column in The Statesman Newspaper titled Letter from America from 1993 through 1998.
In January 2017, Agyarko was appointed the minister of energy in the Akufo-Addo administration. As the Energy Minister, Agyarko had supervisory responsibility for fifteen major agencies under the ministry.
In May, 2017, President Nana Akufo-Addo named Boakye Agyarko as part of nineteen ministers who would form his cabinet . As a Cabinet minister, Agyarko was part of the inner circle of the president and was to aid in key decision making activities in the country.

Where in his background has he got experience in energy/power generation? I don't think he misled the government, he just had very limited knowledge on energy issues. How does a banker run an energy ministry if not in Ghana and our dirty kind of politics? Energy ministry is a technical ministry and not the kind "anybody" can run, same for education ministry.

Well, the education ministry is also run by a medical doctor. This free shs thing, double-track thing, etc, no one should tell us in 3years time that he was "misled" oo
I've not said anything.
