Well, I come to you again, call me the Freelance Analyst....explaining concepts to the innocent public

Hon. Matthew Opoku Prempeh said 400 schools will practise the double-track system.
His deputy, Hon. Dr. Yaw Adutwum said, on JoyNews TV, that 541 schools will practise the double track system. Who tells the truth?

The minister also said cut-off grade system for posting BECE students to SHS will prevent qualified students from going to school. If you no longer use cut-off system, how then do you determine a "qualified" student? What "aggregate" makes a child qualified.

Okay, so there are 696 public schools, 400 will be double-tracked, 296 will be single. What criteria will be used to determine which BECE graduate will be posted to a double-track school or single school. Will the child be given the opportunity to choose for him/herself? Don't forget, at the time they were choosing their schools for placement, double-track thing was non-existent.

We were told double-track will last for 5-7 years. Now, we are told it will last for as long as we are able to build enough infrastructure.

In 3years time, 2021, we'll have, for example
Form 1- double track (a 600 capacity school gets 800)
Form 2- double track( 600 gets 800)
Form 3- double track (600 gets 800)

Thus, a school with original capacity of 1800 will have 2,400 students under double-track. Remember, for every *Jan, Feb...July, Aug,* all tracks will converge on campus. Where will be the space to contain all of them?

I repeat, no one should tell us, in 3years time, that he was "misled" oo
