Pre-Wedding Photo: Stop Preaching for Money and Lovers Will Stop Taking Sexy Photo Shoots- Counsellor "Blasts" Pentecost

The church of Pentecost have expressed their distaste for pre-wedding photoshoots which they describe as sexually appealing. The call was made by the General Secretary of the church, Apostle Nana Yaw Kumi.

He is quoted as saying, “During the pre-engagement time, under the guise of courting, they would be taking all sorts of pictures and spread it all over the place, and the pictures suggest they are already married...you would realise that where they are touching and what they are doing are things that are supposed to be done by married couples– somebody has raised the lady, sitting on his lap, touching this place and all that”

This statement has received mixed reactions from the public, of particular mention are the respected playwright Uncle Ebo White and Counsellor Daniel Fenyi.

According to Counsellor Daniel Fenyi, the Church of Pentecost and all churches in general must return to the teachings of the true word of God and stop preaching for money. Mr. Fenyi argued that if people are taught the Gospel and given sufficient moral teaching, they will naturally lead an upright life.

Counsellor Daniel Fenyi further expressed great disappointment in the Church's participation in marriage. He said marriage is strictly supposed to be between the families of the man and the woman hence Ghanaians should stop over-pampering the church and making they feel they can determine how a marriage should go.
