*Anytime am with my partner, she doesn't pick her calls and sometimes switches off her phone. Is it normal and what should I do Sir?*

*Counselor FENYI:* Your girlfriend will put off her phone or refuse to pick her calls in your presence for two basic reasons; *Firstly,* it could be that she wants to give you her 100% attention anytime she's with you. She may feel playing with her phone while with you shows a sign of disrespect and lack of committment to the relationship. If this is her reason, then there's no need to worry.
*Secondly,* she may be dating other guy (s) or doing some private/personal activities that she wants to hide from you. So the easiest way is to put off her phone or not pick any calls at all. She feels when she picks the calls, you'll overhear certain conversations that will make you angry or worried.
What you have to do is, ask her why she does that. If her reasons are not convincing enough, tell her to put a stop to it and let her know how uncomfortable you are about that behaviour. Thank you!
