_My boyfriend is cheating on me. I've seen love messages he has sent to other girls but he denies it anytime I confront him. I feel very hurt and confused because I love him. What should I do, Counselor?_

*Counselor FENYI:* There are two forms of cheating; *open cheating* and *secret cheating.* Both are not the same. The type of cheating reveals the man's attitude, how he feels, what he thinks and how he sees your relationship.
_*Open cheating:*_ This is where the man talks or messages the other girl in your presence. They discuss love, sex, romance, etc in your presence. Sometimes, he even invites the other girl to the house when you are there. They have sex and leave condoms and other evidences of sex in the room, the other girl's bra, shoe, clothes, underwear, etc can be seen in the room. If a man cheats on you this way, it means he doesn't love you. He doesn't respect you as well. In fact, it means he wants to quit the relationship but doesn't know how to tell you. The only solution to this problem is to *leave him.*
_*Secret cheating:*_ With this type of cheating, the man hides everything from you. You don't see any sign of cheating. Occasionally, you go into his phone or bag and see signs of cheating but until then, nothing shows he's cheating. If the man cheats this way, it means he genuinely loves you. He has great respect for you and doesn't want to lose you. Don't force yourself to "catch" him. Don't always go into his phone, bag, wardrope, etc just to see if he's hiding something.
In such case, confront him and discuss it. Don't let it bother your mind too much. Keep talking till you see a change. If not, you still have two options; quit or stay.
